LG2T17: :

  1. LH7HQD: Including (TOC)
    1. LH7HQP: Setup to Suffusion 3.7.3
    2. LH7HR3: set flexible-width & margins
    3. LH7HRI: include (CSS L6QZ39)
  2. LG2TG5: From q[Twenty Ten 1.1 by the WordPress team] which is driving me batty as
    1. LG2TGC: It’s a fixed width theme
    2. LG2TGN: especially in the editor because it forces the text margins to be the width of the displayed page which is fixed
  3. LG2TGZ: Want
    1. LG2THC: A flexible-width theme
    2. LG2THJ: likely a  BuddyPress theme, as I think I will be using that soon.
  4. LG2THS: Unfortunately searching for q[flexible-width AND buddypress] seems to do the UNION not the intersection; the combo doesn’t seem possible to search for, so
  5. LG2THY: do http://2.loverules.info/wp-admin/theme-install.php?tab=search for “Buddypress” as that is a smaller set.
    1. LG2TI8: 19 choices, and interesting this time Platform Pagelines is not one of them.
    2. LG2TII: choose the 1st one meeting these criteria; which is the 1st one “Suffusion 3.7.3“, which also feature a 5.0 of 5 star rating and 300K downloads.
  6. pause ~2hrs
  7. LG31YN: export initial/default settings to suffusion-options_LG31YN.php: suffusion-options_LG31YN.php
    1. LG32JF: Uploading as media gave me .

“suffusion-options_LG31YN.php” has failed to upload due to an error
File type does not meet security guidelines. Try another..

      .so added .txt

  8. LG316A: In http://2.loverules.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=theme-options-visual-effects.php choose “Purple on a light theme” as it’s sort of romantic.
  9. I note that I can now edit full-screen with with wide lines, yeah!  I think that’s not a choice of the visual effect (as the page is still not flexible-width) but just of the theme.
  10. LG31PP: http://2.loverules.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=theme-options-visual-effects.php&saved=true&category=theme-selection ->Sizes & Margins
    1. LG31UX: change “Page Width Type” from[Fixed width] to[Fluid/Flexible width]
    2. LG31VZ: change q[Width of page] from 75% to 97%
      1. 98% is too big for about 700 wide & less
      2. 97% is too big for about 650 wide & less – pick this because a standard screen is 640×480.
      3. 96% is too big for about 556 wide & less
    3. LG3322: change q[Maximum width] from[1200] to[3000] (may still not be big enough) in order to handle wide tables.
    4. LG336J: change[Minimum width] from[600] to[300] (as small as possible)
      1. LG33R3: below 555 this value seems to have no effect.
    5. LG346P: change q[Empty Space Between Top of Page and Header] from 20 to 2
      1. LG3OD6: 2 matches the 97% above when the page width is (about 843, a good viewing width)
      2. 0 is too small.
  11. LG3PLJ: Set http://2.loverules.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=theme-options-blog-features.php
    1. “Custom Includes”
      1. LH7HWL: (Set Theme’s) “First Additional Stylesheet” From[], To: see Possiblities (in order attempted) & outcome.

LH7HND: Section http://2.loverules.info/wp-admin/theme-install.php of Suffusion end.
